Case Study
Pacific Tug is an Australian leader in marine services and land based logistics. Pacific Tug provides well maintained vessels and associated equipment, and comprehensive towage and execution plans for complex sea transport requirements.
Pacific Tug were looking for a cost-effective containment option for their sand blasting & painting operations in Murarrie, QLD.
Scope
Allshelter needed to create two shelters – 14m wide, 12m deep and 8.5m high with partial end walls, engineered to Wind Region C.
Allshelter also needed to assist Pacific Tug with engineering a slab design as this would save having to do a lot of piling.
How We Went About It
Allshelter worked in consultation with Pacific Tug to understand the project needs and discuss all project options.
Solution
We provided Pacific Tug with two CATA1412 shelters with partial endwalls, suited to the wind category region.
These container domes and shelters were the best solution for Pacific Tug – not only did the shelters meet the project specifications but the shelters also provide valuable storage space.
Allshelter’s project management team ensured successful project design, manufacture and installation.
Outcome
Pacific Tug were extremely satisfied with the final results:
“Allshelter not only provided a top quality product, but also really good service… the support I got from the guys all the way through the process. They (Allshelter) responded very quickly to our requirements. I would come back to Allshelter every time I need a shelter from now on.”
