Marty Lourie

SHARE

Marty Lourie approached Agrishelter looking for a weather protection shelter for storage and maintenance for their farm machinery so their equipment would not be left sitting out in the sun and rain, taking abuse from the elements.

Solution

Agrishelter worked closely with Marty to ensure the best utilisation of space and adequate clearances for machinery. A PMAG1736A – 17m wide x 36m long x 7.9m high post mounted shelter was designed, engineered and manufactured including 3.4 metre-high custom steel posts so that the full width of the shelter could be used. Agrishelter also did the delivery of the shelter.

Outcome

Thanks to the new shelter, it is easier to work in the natural light provided and there is no need to drive the machinery out to see what needs to be done. This saves a lot of time and energy for the farm. In addition the shelter is 10 degrees cooler than the other steel sheds that are located on the farm. The shelter also allows for the farm to drive-through, saving time as there is no need for backing out. The clear span openings make working in the shelter much easier as well. Marty has since referred many friends and neighbours to Agrishelter.
